International Soybean Market
The U.S. has increased the total tariff on China to 245%. China has yet to respond, although they had previously indicated they would not raise tariffs further after the last hike. Despite the announcement, markets showed little reaction.
The USDA will release its Export Sales report on Thursday morning. Analysts expect old crop soybean sales for the week ending April 10 to be between 100,000 and 800,000 metric tons (MT).
New crop sales for 2025/26 are projected to be between 0 and 150,000 MT.
Soybean meal sales are expected in the range of 145,000 to 450,000 MT, and soybean oil sales between 0 and 50,000 MT.
