International Soybean Market
USDA reported a private export sale of 110,000 metric tons of soybeans to Egypt for 2024/25 shipment.
Export Sales data for the week ending June 19 showed that 402,931 metric tons of soybeans were sold for 2024/25, within the expected range of 200,000 to 600,000 metric tons. Although lower than the previous week, this was still 42.4% higher than the same week in 2024. The Netherlands was the top buyer with 63,400 metric tons, followed by Mexico with 60,600 MT and Egypt with 60,000 MT.
New crop sales reached 156,153 metric tons, exceeding the expected range (0 to 150,000 MT), and marked the third-highest weekly sale of the marketing year. Mexico purchased 57,200 MT, while 55,000 MT were sold to unknown destinations.
Soybean meal sales were 93,945 metric tons for 2024/25 and 166,129 metric tons for 2025/26, totaling 260,074 MT — at the low end of the expected range (100,000 to 650,000 MT).
Soybean oil sales were 4,023 MT, also at the low end of the estimate range of net reductions of 10,000 MT to net sales of 34,000 MT.
Datagro raised its Brazilian soybean crop estimate by 1.5 MMT to 173.5 MMT.
