International Spice Conference to be held in Kochi from February 23-26

Kochi: The 9th International Spice Conference (ISC-2026) will be organized by the All India Spices Exporters Forum from February 23 to 26, 2026, in Kochi, the most prominent commercial center of Kerala, known as the "Spice City." The theme of this four-day conference will be "Spice 360 - Getting Future Ready."
A large number of spice experts, producers, traders, importers, exporters, researchers, innovators, policymakers, and analysts from India and abroad will participate in this important, useful, and beneficial conference and present their views on the future of the global spice industry.
Amitabh Kant, a former CEO of NITI Aayog, will inaugurate the conference and be the keynote speaker. In addition, several other experts will present their papers, reports, and data on various issues related to the spice sector during this four-day event.
This will provide a new direction to small and large firms operating in the spice industry and trade sector. Spice producers will also be informed about effective methods to increase production and improve quality.
India is the world's leading producer, consumer, and exporter of spices. More than 80 varieties of whole spices and spice products are exported from India to over 100 countries worldwide.
Kerala, Karnataka, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, and Madhya Pradesh are the major spice-producing states. Kerala is also known as the "Spice State" and has been a center of global spice trade for centuries.
