USDA's weekly export sales report released this morning showed 2025/26 wheat sales totaling 585,989 MT for the week ending June 26. That was at the high end of Reuters' trade estimates of 200,000 to 600,000 MT, a marketing-year high, and more than double the previous week. The Philippines was the top buyer with 162,000 MT, followed by Thailand at 60,000 MT.
Census data released this morning showed wheat exports in May at 2.16 MMT (79.4 million bushels), the highest for any May in four years. Total wheat exports for the year reached 810 million bushels, or 829 million bushels including products—slightly above USDA’s June estimate of 820 million bushels.
