This week’s export sales report showed 305,351 MT of wheat sold in the week ending September 4, the second-lowest total for the marketing year. Japan purchased 78,600 MT, and Indonesia bought 70,000 MT.
USDA’s monthly WASDE report will be released on Friday. Traders expect very few changes to the 2025/26 balance sheet. Stocks are projected at 865 mbu, down 4 mbu from last month if realized. Production is expected to remain unchanged this month due to the Small Grains report scheduled at the end of the month.
