International Wheat Market
★ According to USDA, during the week ending September 11, the US exported 7.7 lakh tonnes of wheat.
★ This was 80% higher than the previous week and 31.34% above the same period last year.
★ Mexico was the largest buyer at 2.02 lakh tonnes, followed by Indonesia at 1.62 lakh tonnes and South Korea at 1.00 lakh tonnes.
★ Since the season began on September 1, the US has exported 78.5 lakh tonnes of wheat, 17% higher than the same period last year.
