Commitment of Traders Report:
As of November 26, 2019, speculative traders increased their net short positions in CBT wheat by 7,572 contracts, bringing the total to 59,118 contracts.
In KC wheat, net short positions were raised by 1,286 contracts to reach 30,661 contracts.
Weekly Export Inspection Data:
For the week ending November 28, wheat exports totaled 296,106 metric tons (10.88 million bushels), down 18.83% from the previous week but up 57.25% from the same period last year.
The Philippines was the largest destination, receiving 90,000 metric tons, followed by Mexico with 52,143 metric tons.
Total exports for the marketing year to date stand at 10.987 million metric tons (403.68 million bushels), an increase of 31.79% compared to the previous year.
Australia's Wheat Production:
Australia's ABARES raised the country's wheat production forecast by 0.1 million metric tons, now expected to reach 31.9 million metric tons.
