New Delhi. Increased moong production in Rajasthan has led to a rise in arrivals in key producing areas such as Bikaner, Dausa, Nagaur, Sumerpur, and Merta, putting pressure on prices.

In Bikaner, moong was priced at ₹7400–7700 with 100 bags arriving, while in Sumerpur and Nagaur, prices ranged from ₹6500–8150 with 3,000–4,000 bags arriving.

In Delhi, trade remained stable at ₹7400–7800 with 7,000–9,000 bags arriving, and closing prices held steady.

Light arrivals were reported in Madhya Pradesh, with prices between ₹6400–7000. In Pipariya, moong traded at ₹6000–7000 for 100 bags, and in Jabalpur at ₹5000–7000 for 200 bags.

Due to limited buying interest at higher prices, sales of Rajasthan goods have been affected. With new crop arrivals expected in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar in May-June, experts suggest avoiding stocking at present. Stocking should be considered only when there is more price pressure.
