★ Compared to other oilseeds, mustard prices have shown consistent upward movement.

★ Compared to last year, Delhi mustard prices have increased by Rs.650 per quintal, and by Rs.200 per quintal from last month.
★ Mustard oil (Delhi expeller), which was priced at Rs.1175 per 10 kg on 02.07.2024, rose to Rs.1480 per 10 kg on 02.07.2025. Bharatpur's "kachchi ghani" traded at Rs.1520 per 10 kg on July 2, 2025.
★ Mustard and mustard oil prices have been consistently rising.
★ With the continued surge in prices, adulteration in mustard oil has reportedly begun.
★ Crude mustard oil crushing has increased in anticipation of festive demand.
★ The increasing import of edible oils has not affected mustard prices.
★ Ongoing mandi strikes in Rajasthan have also supported prices.
★ According to IGrain India, after a brief correction, mustard prices are expected to remain firm in the coming days.
