NCCF Auctions 45,283 Tonnes of Imported Lentils from Chennai Warehouses

The National Cooperative Consumers' Federation (NCCF) today auctioned 45,283 tonnes of imported lentils from the 2022–23 crop year via the AgriBazaar platform. The lentils were imported from Australia, Canada, and Russia.

The stock was stored at the following locations:

 Ayyanadaippu-4: 16,772 tonnes

 CWC-Ayyanadaippu-2: 11,931 tonnes

 Ayyanadaippu-1: 5,810 tonnes

 Ayyanadaippu-3: 4,513 tonnes

 Melarasadi: 3,358 tonnes

 Sankaraperi: 1,615 tonnes

 Tuticorin-CFS: 1,283 tonnes

The auction was conducted between 11:00 and 11:30 AM, while the matching round was scheduled from 3:00 to 3:30 PM. Results of the auction are currently awaited.
