★ During the week ended December 18, U.S. corn export inspections totaled 1.75 million tonnes, which is 52% higher than the same period last year.
★ Mexico was the largest buyer with 565,000 tonnes, followed by South Korea (407,000 tonnes), Spain (263,000 tonnes), and Japan (238,000 tonnes).
★ In the current season so far, the U.S. has exported 24.27 million tonnes of corn over the past four months, 67% higher than the same period last year.
