★ During the week ended December 18, U.S. wheat export inspections totaled 627,000 tonnes, which is 46% higher than the same period last year.
★ Mexico imported 100,000 tonnes, Japan 77,000 tonnes, Thailand 70,000 tonnes, and China 68,000 tonnes. In the current season so far, the U.S. has exported 14.75 million tonnes of wheat, up 22.9% compared to the same period last year.
★ In the week ended December 4, the U.S. exported 380,000 tonnes of wheat.
★ Argentina has issued purchase tenders for 50,000 tonnes of durum wheat.
