On Thursday, President Trump said he plans to raise the issue of soybeans during his meeting with Chinese President Xi later this month, repeating remarks made last week. He also mentioned that if trade relations do not improve, the US may have to stop imports from China. The market showed little reaction to his comments, as traders seem fatigued by ongoing talks and lack of action.
Harvest is expected to continue progressing across most of the country, while parts of the Dakotas and Minnesota may see 1 to 2 inches of rain early next week.
StoneX estimates that biodiesel demand in Brazil could rise 6.3% to reach 10.5 billion liters.
