The weekly Crop Progress report from NASS showed that 95% of the U.S. soybean crop had been planted by June 7, 2% ahead of the normal pace. Crop emergence reached 88%, which was 6 percentage points ahead of average. Good-to-excellent condition ratings increased by 1% to 66%, while the Brugler500 Index rose 1 point to 368. Significant improvements were noted in Indiana (+10), Minnesota (+4), North Dakota (+10), and South Dakota (+11). However, conditions weakened in Illinois (-7), Iowa (-6), Nebraska (-12), and Ohio (-1).
According to Brazil’s ANEC, June soybean exports are estimated at 15.31 million metric tons (MMT), an increase of 0.93 MMT from the previous estimate.
