Latur:
– 02.07.2024: 4400/4650
– 02.05.2025: 4000/4350
– 02.06.2025: 4100/4400
– 02.07.2025: 4000/4325
★ A similar trend has been observed in other mandis as well.
★ Compared to last year, soybean prices have declined by Rs.300–400 per quintal.
★ The average price at Madhya Pradesh soybean processing plants, which was Rs.4475/4625 on 02.07.2024, has declined to Rs.4350/4375 per quintal as of 02.07.2025.
★ Prices of refined soybean oil have increased. On 02.07.2024, the average price of refined soybean oil in Madhya Pradesh was Rs.955/980 per 10 kg, which has risen to Rs.1168/1185 per 10 kg as of 02.07.2025. The price increase is mainly due to a rise in international edible oil prices.
★ After the recent import duty cuts, the price gap between refined and crude oils has widened, which may lead to an increase in crude oil imports in the future.
★ Heavy imports of edible oils and reduced demand for soybean meal due to DDGS have significantly weakened crushing demand, clearly affecting prices.
★ According to IGrain India, the outlook for a rebound in soybean crushing demand due to DDGS remains weak.
★ No significant price fluctuations are expected in the near term.
★ This may also impact soybean sowing in the current season.
