Sugar & Bioenergy Conference Scheduled in New Delhi on 11–12 September

New Delhi. The apex body of private sugar mills - Indian Sugar and Bio Energy Manufacturers Association (ISMA) is organizing the third edition of 'India Sugar and Bio Energy Conference' on 11 and 12 September 2025 at Joe W Marriott, Aerocity, New Delhi.

The theme of this two-day event is - "Energizing Economics: The Global Impact of Indian Sugar." This event is considered to be very useful, important and beneficial for the sugar industry and trade sector as it will provide an excellent opportunity to industry experts,

policy makers, researchers and other stakeholders to come together on one platform and explore the role of India's sugar and bio energy sector in driving economic development. Along with this, attention will also be given to energy transition and global sustainability.

The third edition of the current year's conference will be inaugurated in the presence of Union Minister of Food, Consumer Affairs & Public Distribution and New & Renewable Energy, Union Minister of Road Transport & Highways and Union Minister of State in the Ministry of Food, Consumer Affairs & Public Distribution.

The event will also see the official launch of the study report on sugar consumption, roadmap for SAF in India and the annual edition of ISMA Times, a dedicated magazine of the apex body covering all possible trends and trends in the entire sugar and bio-energy industry.

Along with the above Hon'ble Ministers, Union Food Secretary, Union Commerce Secretary and Secretary of Petroleum & Natural Gas will also be present at the event. Joint Secretary (Sugar Movement) in the Food Ministry will also express his views. On behalf of the industry, Director General of ISMA and other officials will participate in the event.
