Demand remains weak, Moong prices fall

New Delhi. Due to sluggish demand, Moong prices have fallen during the current week. Due to lack of demand for Moong dal, the purchase of Moong by millers has remained sluggish. Due to which there is pressure on prices. Due to weak purchases by dal millers, Delhi Moong prices have fallen by Rs. 100 per quintal during the current week and with this fall, the prices have come down to Rs. 7500/7800 per quintal.
Rajasthan
Due to increased selling and weak buying, the price of moong in Rajasthan markets witnessed a fall of Rs. 100 per quintal during the current week and at the weekend the prices remained at Jodhpur Rs. 6500/7400, Jaipur Rs. 7000/7900, Nagaur Rs. 7000/8100, Merta Rs. 7200/7800 and Kishangarh Rs. 6400/7500 per quintal.
Madhya Pradesh
Due to normal demand, the price of moong in Madhya Pradesh witnessed a rise and fall of Rs. 50/100 per quintal during the current week and the price remained at Pipariya Rs. 6000/7100, Indore Rs. 7500/8000 and Jabalpur Rs. 5000/7400 per quintal at the weekend.
Karnataka
Due to sluggish buying and selling, there was no movement in the prices of Karnataka moong during the current week and the prices remained at Gulbarga Rs. 3500/8000, Bidar Rs. 6777/7325, Hubli Rs. 6763/7469 and Gadag Rs. 5430/8289 per quintal at the end of the week.
Maharashtra
Due to sluggish buying, there was a decline of Rs. 50/100 per quintal in the prices of Maharashtra moong during the current week and the prices remained at Solapur Rs. 7200/8300, Latur Rs. 4000/7100, Akola Rs. 6200/8550, Barshi Rs. 6300/7200, Ahmednagar Rs. 6000/8000 and Khamgaon Rs. 5000/6500 per quintal at the end of the week.
Others
Due to lack of demand, there was no increase or decrease in the prices of Rajkot moong during the current week and the prices remained stable at Rs. 7000/7600 per quintal at the weekend.
Moong Dal
Due to sluggish demand, the prices of moong dal witnessed a decline of Rs. 100/150 per quintal during the last week and the prices remained at Delhi Rs. 9850/12100, Jodhpur Rs. 9750/9800, Jaipur Rs. 9500, Bhatapara Rs. 9450/9950, Jalgaon Rs. 10100 and Indore Rs. 9000/9700 per quintal.
