Sugar Prices Improve Due to Festival Demand
New Delhi. Despite the ongoing Pitru Paksha (the holy month of Pitru Paksha), sugar mill delivery prices and spot market prices improved during the week of September 13-19 due to strong buying by buyers. The weather is also changing. The intensity of monsoon rains has decreased and temperatures have risen in many areas, which will also lead to industrial demand for sugar. The peak festival season is about to begin next week, which may keep sugar demand strong.
