NASS Crop Progress data showed that 95% of the U.S. winter wheat crop had headed by Sunday, 4 percentage points ahead of normal. Harvest progress reached 25%, well ahead of the average pace of 13%. Crop conditions improved by 2 percentage points to 27% good-to-excellent, while the Brugler500 Index increased by 4 points to 267.
The spring wheat crop was 95% emerged, 6 percentage points ahead of the average pace. About 6% of the crop had headed, 1 percentage point ahead of normal. Spring wheat condition ratings improved by 3 percentage points to 55% good-to-excellent, and the Brugler500 Index rose by 2 points to 352.
USDA’s FGIS reported wheat export shipments of 334,292 metric tons (12.28 million bushels) during the week ending June 11. This was 3.39% higher than the previous week but 14.01% lower than the same week last year. South Korea was the leading destination with 105,822 metric tons, followed by Mexico with 54,444 metric tons and the Philippines with 53,202 metric tons. Marketing year 2026/27 exports totaled 554,075 metric tons (20.36 million bushels) during the first 11 days of the new season, down 6.1% from the same period a year earlier.
