बांग्लादेश से बढ़ रही है भारत की कपास निर्यात मांग
★ CAI के अनुसार 2023-24 में कपास निर्यात 26 लाख बेल्स पहुंच सकता है जो 2022-23 के दौरान 15.5 लाख बेल्स था।
★ बांग्लादेश से प्रति माह 1-1.5 लाख बेल्स कपास का हो रहा है निर्यात।
★ CAI ने 2023-24 के दौरान 317.17 लाख बेल्स कपास उत्पादन का दिया अनुमान जो फरवरी में 309 लाख बेल्स दिया गया था।
★ 317.7 लाख बेल्स उत्पादन, 16.4 लाख बेल्स आयात, 5.5 लाख बेल्स की आवक और पुराने स्टॉक को मिलाकर सप्लाई के लिए 363 लाख बेल्स कपास का स्टॉक उपलब्ध जो गत सीजन में 355.5 लाख बेल्स था।
★ 317 लाख बेल्स की डिमांड एवं अन्य खपत के बाद सीजन के अंत में 20.5 लाख बेल्स कपास का स्टॉक बच सकता है जो गत वर्ष 28.9 लाख बेल्स था।
★ चालू सीजन में पंजाब, हरियाणा, राजस्थान में कपास बिजाई बढ़ने की सम्भावना। प्री-मानसून बारिश कमजोर पड़ने से उत्पादकता पर पड़ सकता है असर। मध्य भारत में मानसून आने के बाद होगी बिजाई।
★ महाराष्ट्र, कर्नाटक, आंध्र प्रदेश, तेलंगाना, तमिलनाडु में हो रही है कपास की बिजाई।
★ आई ग्रेन इंडिया का मानना है कि घटे भावों के कारण किसान घटा सकते हैं कपास की बिजाई।

India's cotton export demand from Bangladesh is increasing
★ According to CAI, cotton exports can reach 26 lakh bales in 2023-24, which was 15.5 lakh bales during 2022-23.
★ 1-1.5 lakh bales of cotton are being exported from Bangladesh every month.
★ CAI has estimated cotton production of 317.17 lakh bales during 2023-24, which was given as 309 lakh bales in February.
★ Including 317.7 lakh bales production, 16.4 lakh bales import, 5.5 lakh bales arrival and old stock, 363 lakh bales of cotton stock is available for supply, which was 355.5 lakh bales in the last season.
★ After the demand of 317 lakh bales and other consumption, 20.5 lakh bales of cotton stock may remain at the end of the season which was 28.9 lakh bales last year.
★ In the current season, cotton sowing is likely to increase in Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan. Weak pre-monsoon rains may affect the productivity. Sowing will be done after the arrival of monsoon in central India.
★ Cotton is being sown in Maharashtra, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu.
★ I Grain India believes that due to the fall in prices, farmers may reduce cotton sowing.
