ICE cotton futures closed mixed on Wednesday, with contracts ranging from 16 points lower to 28 points higher. Crude oil prices rose by $3.65 to $91.85 per barrel. The U.S. Dollar Index increased by $0.130 to 100.045.
The Cotlook A Index gained 40 points on June 9 to reach 85.90 cents per pound. ICE-certified cotton stocks declined by 25,818 bales on June 9, leaving total certified stocks at 231,683 bales. The Adjusted World Price (AWP) fell by another 29 points last week to 63.20 cents per pound.
