Ahmedabad. The Gujarat government has decided to procure Kharif-season groundnut, soybean, moong (green gram), and urad (black gram) at the Minimum Support Price (MSP); farmer registration for this process began today, September 10, 2026. Gujarat's Agriculture Minister stated that this government decision would enable the state's pulse and oilseed growers to avail the benefits of MSP.

Registration for farmers wishing to sell their pulse and oilseed stocks at MSP will continue from September 10 to October 9. According to the Agriculture Minister, farmers can register free of charge at e-Gram centers using their 'Farmer ID' and Aadhaar authentication. Additionally, two other options for registration have been provided to farmers.

The procurement of Kharif pulses and oilseeds will be carried out under the Central Government's PM-ASHA (Pradhan Mantri Annadata Aay Sanrakshan Abhiyan) scheme, which aims to provide financial protection to farmers. For the 2026-27 season, the MSP has been fixed at ₹7,517 per quintal for groundnut, ₹8,780 for moong, ₹8,200 for urad, and ₹5,708 for soybean.
