Highlights of the conversation between the Food Secretary and I Grain India
★ In the Annual General Meeting organized by ISMA, today I Grain India talked to the Food Secretary about wheat and rice.
★ The Secretary said that sufficient stock of wheat is available in the country.
★ 1 lakh tonne wheat was allocated per week in OMSS, sales under OMSS are good.
★ If prices increase, the government can also consider increasing the OMSS quantity.
★ After imposing stock limit and starting OMSS sales, the government is keeping a close eye on the prices of wheat, sowing is good, good production is expected.
