★ Global cotton production for 2025-26 has increased to 121.87 million bales (earlier 120.99 million bales), mainly due to higher output in China, India, and Pakistan.
★ Global consumption has also risen to 119.14 million bales (earlier 118.58 million bales), supported by higher mill use in China and India.
★ Global exports have slightly declined to 43.72 million bales, while ending stocks have increased to 77.04 million bales.
★ For India, production is higher at 23.80 million bales (earlier 23.50), consumption at 25.50 million bales (earlier 25.00), and exports are lower at 1.20 million bales (earlier 1.40).
