Pulses:
From July-November 2024, pulse imports decreased to 582,000 tons from 640,000 tons in the same period last year.
In November 2024, pulse imports increased by 32.84%, reaching 150,000 tons compared to 123,000 tons last year.
Oilseeds:
Soybean oil imports dropped by 10.01%, while palm oil imports rose by 7.13%.
From July-November 2024, 74,385 metric tons of soybean oil were imported, slightly down from 74,745 metric tons last year.
In November 2024, imports of soybean and palm oils rose by 113.99% and 11.69%, respectively.
November saw an import of 15,045 metric tons of soybean oil, up from 6,410 metric tons last year.
Palm oil imports in November totaled 234,000 metric tons, compared to 231,000 metric tons last November.
