India-UK Agreement to Benefit Spice Industry
★ Turmeric, black pepper, cardamom, along with other products like rice and pulses exported from India will now be duty-free.
★ Earlier, India exported spices to several European Union countries like Germany and the Netherlands; now demand is also expected from the UK.
