India will export 2 lakh tons of rice to Bangladesh
A shipment of 27,000 tons has already arrived at Chittagong Port.
An additional 1 lakh tons is expected soon.
Floods in Bangladesh damaged crops, leading to increased imports.
The government approved the import of 16 lakh tons, including 1 lakh tons from Myanmar.
Talks are ongoing with Vietnam and Pakistan for more rice.
