India’s Soymeal Exports Down 29% in June: SOPA
Production
★ Soymeal production in June fell to 631,000 tonnes, compared to 710,000 tonnes in June last year.
★ Total soymeal production during October–June stood at 6.87 million tonnes, down from 7.54 million tonnes a year ago.

★ India’s soymeal exports in June 2025 declined 29% to 97,000 tonnes from 136,000 tonnes in June 2024.
★ Cumulative soymeal exports during October–June (2024–25) stood at 1.56 million tonnes, down from 1.78 million tonnes last year.
★ The domestic and export markets remain under pressure due to cheaper alternatives like Distillers Dried Grains with Solubles (DDGS).

★ Soybean arrivals in June were 550,000 tonnes, compared to 850,000 tonnes in June 2024.
★ Total arrivals during October–June stood at 8.9 million tonnes, down from 9.8 million tonnes last year.

★ Soybean crushing during October–June dropped to 8.7 million tonnes, compared to 9.55 million tonnes last year.

★ Total soybean stocks at the end of June stood at 3.04 million tonnes, down from 3.88 million tonnes in May.
★ Stocks with farmers, traders, and processing plants were 1.85 million tonnes.
★ Government agencies (NAFED and NCCF) held around 1.2 million tonnes as of July 10.
★ Soymeal stocks at the end of June rose to 175,000 tonnes from 149,000 tonnes in May.
