Cotton Futures
In Wednesday's session, cotton futures prices closed down by 2 to 5 points.
External markets also remained a pressure factor:
The US dollar index closed steady.
Crude oil prices fell $1.23 per barrel to below $70, after being above $70 overnight.
Sales and Stocks
The Seam:
3,500 bales were sold online on December 3 at an average price of 63.27 cents/lb.
ICE Cotton Stocks:
13,274 bales were steady on certified stocks on Monday.
Price Update
Cotlook A Index:
Dec 3 was down 50 points to 81.75 cents/lb.
USDA Adjusted World Price (AWP):
Rise 162 points last week to 57.53 cents/lb.
