In Monday’s session, ICE cotton futures closed 55 to 69 points higher. Crude oil futures rose by 30 cents per barrel to $60.05, while the U.S. dollar index increased by $0.029 to 99.50.
In The Seam’s online auction on Friday, 329 bales were sold at an average price of 60.69 cents per pound. On November 7, the Cotlook A Index fell by 70 points to 75.85 cents.
ICE certified cotton stocks remained steady at 13,749 bales on November 7. Due to the government shutdown, the Adjusted World Price (AWP) continues to remain unupdated.
