International Soybean Market
The weekly export sales report showed that for the week ending 12/26 of the 2024/25 season, only 484,679 metric tons (MT) were booked, falling below traders' expectations of 0.5–1.2 million metric tons (MMT). This marked the lowest sales level for the marketing year (MY) during the holiday week. China purchased 617,700 MT, while 316,000 MT were shifted from unknown sources, resulting in a net reduction of 667,300 MT.
Soybean meal sales were recorded at 203,814 MT, within the estimated range of 150,000–400,000 MT. Meanwhile, soybean oil bookings reached 38,147 MT, nearing the upper end of the estimated range of 5,000–40,000 MT.
