Weather forecasts predict mostly dry conditions over the next 7 days from Texas to the Dakotas, with light rainfall possible in Soft Red Winter (SRW) wheat regions.
Ahead of Thursday’s Export Sales report, traders expect Old Crop wheat bookings to range from a net reduction of 100,000 MT to net sales of 150,000 MT, and New Crop sales between 200,000 and 400,000 MT.
Monday's Crop Production report will include wheat data.
Expected total U.S. wheat production: 1.885 billion bushels, broken down as:
Winter Wheat: 1.325 billion bushels
Hard Red Winter (HRW): 748 million bushels
Soft Red Winter (SRW): 342 million bushels
White Winter: 234 million bushels
