Tuesday marked the first day of the annual Hard Red Wheat Tour in Kansas, with Day 1 yield estimates averaging 50.5 bushels per acre (bpa). That figure is up from 49.9 bpa on Day 1 last year and is the highest in four years. Day 2 results will be released this evening.
Thursday’s Export Sales report is expected to show old crop wheat bookings ranging from a net reduction of 200,000 MT to net sales of 100,000 MT. New crop business for 2025/26 is projected between 350,000 and 600,000 MT. Algeria has reportedly purchased around 660,000 MT of wheat in a recent tender held on Wednesday.
