Madhya Pradesh: Approval of incentive and upgradation amount for milling of paddy in Kharif marketing year 2023-24
In Madhya Pradesh, for the Kharif marketing year 2023-24, the Council of Ministers has approved milling incentives and upgradation amounts for paddy. A milling charge of ₹10 per quintal and an incentive of ₹50 per quintal will be provided.
Additionally, for surplus rice handed over to the FCI, ₹40 per quintal will be given for 20% contribution, and ₹120 per quintal for 40% contribution. The aim is to ensure the supply of rice under the Public Distribution System and other welfare schemes while expediting the transfer of surplus rice to the central pool.
