मगज तरबूज आयात की समयअवधि में बदलाव नहीं: विकास सोनी
नई दिल्ली। वर्तमान में बाजार में अफवाह फैलाई जा रही है कि DGFT द्वारा मगज तरबूज के आयात की समयअवधि को बढ़ाकर 31 अगस्त 2024 कर दिया गया है। 
★ उल्लेखनीय है कि DGFT द्वारा गत 5 अप्रैल को नोटिफिकेशन जारी किया गया था कि आयातक मगज तरबूज का आयात 1 मई 2024 से 30 जून 2024 तक कर सकते हैं।
★ विकास उद्योग, जोधपुर के श्री विकास सोनी हमारे संवाददाता को बताया कि मगज तरबूज के आयात की समयअवधि में कोई बदलाव नहीं किया गया है। कुछ व्यापारी बाजार को भ्रमित कर रहे हैं ताकि बाजार में गिरावट आये और माल की खरीद करके बाद में ऊंचे भावों पर बिकवाली करें।
★ श्री सोनी ने व्यापारियों को सुझाव दिया है कि इस अफवाह से भ्रमित होने की आवश्यकता नहीं है।
★ देश में मगज तरबूज की खपत लगभग 80 हजार टन सालाना की होती है। जिसमें घरेलू पैदावार 40 हजार टन और 40 हजार टन का आयात शामिल है।
★ सूडान में गृहयुद्ध के कारण मगज तरबूज का आयात आशानुरूप नहीं हो पाया है जिस कारण से आगामी दिनों में बाजार में मगज तरबूज की शोर्टेज बनने की सम्भावना है और कीमतों में तेजी आने के अनुमान लगाए जा रहे हैं।

New Delhi. Currently, rumors are being spread in the market that the time period for import of Magaj watermelon has been extended to 31 August 2024 by DGFT.
★ It is noteworthy that on April 5, a notification was issued by DGFT that importers can import Magaj watermelon from 1 May 2024 to 30 June 2024.
★ Mr. Vikas Soni of Vikas Udyog, Jodhpur told our correspondent that no change has been made in the time period for import of Magaj watermelon. Some traders are confusing the market so that there is a fall in the market and after buying the goods, sell them later at higher prices.
★ Mr. Soni has suggested to the traders that there is no need to be confused by this rumor.
★ The consumption of Magaj watermelon in the country is about 80 thousand tons annually. This includes domestic production of 40 thousand tons and import of 40 thousand tons.
★ Due to the civil war in Sudan, the import of Magaj watermelon has not been as expected, due to which there is a possibility of shortage of Magaj watermelon in the market in the coming days and prices are expected to rise.
