Mustard Market – July 2025 Report
★ Mustard prices rose significantly in July.
★ In Delhi, mustard (condition) prices jumped by ₹650, reaching ₹7,300/quintal, while in Jaipur, prices increased by ₹650 to ₹7,650/quintal.
★ On 30th July, both cities recorded their highest prices for the month.
★ In Bharatpur, mustard gained ₹470 from 1st to 30th July, reaching ₹7,150/quintal. Similarly, Alwar mustard rose by ₹400 to ₹7,200/quintal, and in Charkhi Dadri, prices surged by ₹570, reaching ₹7,370/quintal.

Mustard Oil
★ In July, expeller and kachchi ghani mustard oil prices increased by ₹130–₹170 per 10 kg.
★ Delhi expeller oil rose by ₹135 to ₹1,615 per 10 kg.
★ Bharatpur kachchi ghani oil jumped ₹160 to ₹1,680 per 10 kg, and expeller oil improved by ₹130 to ₹1,660 per 10 kg.
★ The main driver of this rally was increased demand for mustard oil.
★ Strong winds in Western Uttar Pradesh damaged raw mango crops, leading to an early spike in demand for mustard oil for pickle-making. Later, festive demand further supported prices.

★ IGrain India believes mustard prices are less influenced by global markets.
★ Mustard oil is now being compared to desi ghee in terms of household preference.
