Mustard takes a U-turn: Market correction seen today
★ After a prolonged period of rising mustard prices, a decline was observed in the markets today.
★ Due to high prices, selling activity remained weak and most of the trading was limited to set price levels.
★ The sharpest drop in mustard prices today was seen in Charkhi Dadri, where rates fell by ₹125 to ₹7,325.
★ In Morena, condition mustard prices dropped by ₹50 to ₹7,150.
★ In Alwar, Khairthal, Gwalior, and Ganjbasoda, a decline of ₹50–100 was recorded.
★ In Delhi, condition mustard fell by ₹50 to ₹7,200, while in Sumerpur, prices declined by ₹60 to ₹7,500.
★ However, in Jaipur, mustard prices rose by ₹25 to ₹7,550–7,575, and in Bharatpur, rates increased by ₹31 to ₹7,081.

★ Along with condition mustard prices, mustard oil rates also declined today.
★ In Sri Ganganagar, both Kachchi Ghani and expeller oil dropped by ₹20 per 10 kg.
★ In Bharatpur, after a ₹20 decline, Kachchi Ghani is trading at ₹1,670 and expeller at ₹1,650.
★ In Alwar, expeller oil also dropped by ₹10 to ₹1,650.

★ Mustard demand is expected to remain strong, and after this minor correction, prices may rise again.
