★ नीति आयोग के अनुसार उत्पादन 2019-20 में 230 लाख टन पहुंचा, 2.3 लाख टन निर्यात व 29.7 लाख टन आयात के बाद कुल उपलब्धता 260 लाख टन बताई गयी।
★ रिपोर्ट के अनुसार 1966-67 से 2002-03 तक दलहन का के एरिया में कोई बदलाव नहीं आया और न ही उत्पादकता पर, एरिया इन उपरोक्त अवधि के दौरान प्रति वर्ष 0.06% घटा परन्तु उत्पादकता 0.77% बढ़ी जोकि अच्छी नहीं है।
★ 2011-12 से 2019-20 तक दलहन उत्पादन 4.43% बढ़ा। एरिया भी 3% और उत्पादकता 1.4% बढ़ी।
★ 1966-67 से 2019-20 तक दलहन उत्पादन 2.8 गुना बढ़ा।
★ नीति आयोग के अनुसार मसूर उत्पादकता 2019-20 में 847 किलो प्रति हेक्टेयर बताई गयी जबकि विश्व के 5 सबसे बड़े उत्पादक देशो में उत्पादकता 1584 किलो प्रति हेक्टेयर है।
★ ठीक इसी तरह तुवर की भारत में उत्पादकता 859 किलो बताई गयी जो विश्व के 5 बड़े देशों में औसतन 1364 किलो प्रति हेक्टेयर रहती है।
★ देश में 2019-20 के दौरान चना की उत्पादकता 1142 किलो बताई गयी जो विश्व के 5 बड़े देशों में औसतन 1696 किलो प्रति हेक्टेयर है।
★ उपरोक्त आकड़ों के अनुसार भारत में दलहन की प्रति हेक्टेयर उत्पादकता दर सबसे कमजोर।
