★ निर्यातकों ने सरकार से चावल पर लगने वाले 20% शुल्क को हटाने की मांग की।
★ केंद्रीय पूल में चावल का सरप्लस स्टॉक उपलब्ध।
★ कीमतों को रोकने के लिए सरकार 170-180 लाख टन चावल डिस्पोज़ कर सकती है।
★ PDS एवं अन्य स्कीमों के तहत चावल का आवंटन अधिक किया जाएगा।
★ जल्द ही OMSS स्कीम के तहत प्राइवेट में और राज्यों को चावल की बिक्री शुरू होगी।
★ कल हुई मीटिंग में चावल निर्यातकों उद्योग से जुड़े लोगों ने सरकार से कहा कि जब धान की खरीद 3100 रुपए प्रति क्विंटल पर की गयी तो इससे नीचे भावों पर मिलर्स को चावल नहीं देना चाहिए। छत्तीसगढ़ में 3100 रुपए की दर से धान खरीद की गयी थी।
★ केंद्रीय पूल में 1 जून को 504.6 लाख टन चावल का स्टॉक उपलब्ध, गत वर्ष की समानअवधि से 414.2 लाख टन से 22% अधिक।

★ In the meeting held yesterday, people associated with the rice exporters industry told the government that when paddy was purchased at Rs 3100 per quintal, then rice should not be given to the millers at prices below this. Paddy was purchased at the rate of Rs 3100 in Chhattisgarh.
★ On June 1, 504.6 lakh tons of rice stock was available in the central pool, 22% more than 414.2 lakh tons in the same period last year.
