★ सीजन भर बासमती चावल की ऊंची कीमतों को देख बढ़ सकती है बिजाई, उत्पादन भी बढेगा।
★ देखना होगा कि मानसून कैसा रहता है।
★ निर्यातकों को रही परेशानी, ऊंची कीमतों के निर्यात शुल्क 950$ भी चुकाना पड़ रहा है।
★ उड़ीसा में चुनाव के दौरान मौजूदा सरकार ने किसानों से 3100 रुपए प्रति क्विंटल के भाव पर धान खरीदने का चुनावी वादा किया था।
★ छत्तीसगढ़ में भी सरकार आने के बाद 3100 रुपए प्रति क्विंटल की दर से जनवरी से धान ख़रीदा गया।
★ पिछले 2 महीने से चावल की कीमतों में ठहराव/गिरावट देखी गयी।
★ फरवरी के दौरान बासमती चावल के औसत निर्यात भाव 1127%$/टन थे जो मई में घटकर 1096$ आ चुके हैं।
★ अप्रैल में 5 लाख टन बासमती चावल निर्यात हुआ जो 2023 में 4.3 लाख टन था, पूरे वित्त वर्ष 2023-24 में रिकॉर्ड 52.4 लाख टन बासमती चावल का हुआ निर्यात।
★ सूत्रों से प्राप्त जानकारी के अनुसार वाणिज्य मंत्रालय आज 12 बजे राइस एक्सपोर्टर्स एसोसिएशन के साथ करेगा मीटिंग, दरअसल राइस एक्सपोर्टर एसोसिएशन ने बासमती चावल पर 20% निर्यात शुल्क की जगह 90$/टन की ड्यूटी लगाने की मांग की है, देखना होगा सरकार इस पर क्या फैसला लेती है।

★ According to information received from sources, the Commerce Ministry will hold a meeting with the Rice Exporters Association at 12 noon today, in fact the Rice Exporters Association has demanded to impose a duty of 90 $ / tonne instead of 20% export duty on Basmati rice, it remains to be seen what decision the government takes on this.
