★ साल्वेंट एक्सट्रेक्टर्स एसोसिएशन ऑफ़ इंडिया (SEA) ने सरकार से डी-ओइल्ड राइस ब्रान (DORB) के निर्यात पर लगे प्रतिबन्ध को आगे न बढ़ाने के लिए पत्र लिखा। 31 जुलाई 2024 तक DORB का निर्यात प्रतिबंधित किया गया था।
★ हर साल भारत से 5-6 लाख टन DORB होता था निर्यात।
★ पहले 31 मार्च 2024 तक प्रतिबन्ध था जिसकी समय सीमा को बढ़ाकर 31 जुलाई 2024 किया गया।

★ SEA के अनुसार मई में सकल ऑइलमील निर्यात 31% घटकर 3.02 लाख टन पहुंचा, मई 2023 में 4.36 लाख टन हुआ था निर्यात।
★ सोयामील का निर्यात मई 2023 के 1.14 लाख टन से बढ़कर 1.44 लाख टन हुआ।
★ सरसों खल निर्यात 1 लाख टन घटकर 1.33 लाख टन, अरंडी मील 30 हजार टन घटकर 23 हजार टन में सिमटा।
★ अप्रैल से मई तक कुल ऑइलमील निर्यात 7.67 लाख टन पहुंचा, गत वर्ष के 9.39 लाख टन से 17% कम।

★ Solvent Extractors Association of India (SEA) wrote a letter to the government not to extend the ban on the export of de-oiled rice bran (DORB). Export of DORB was banned till 31 July 2024.
★ Every year 5-6 lakh tonnes of DORB was exported from India.
★ Earlier there was a ban till 31 March 2024, the deadline of which was extended to 31 July 2024.

★ According to SEA, gross oilmeal exports in May fell by 31% to 3.02 lakh tonnes, 4.36 lakh tonnes were exported in May 2023.
★ Soymeal exports increased from 1.14 lakh tonnes in May 2023 to 1.44 lakh tonnes.
★ Mustard cake export decreased by 1 lakh tonne to 1.33 lakh tonne, castor meal decreased by 30 thousand tonne to 23 thousand tonne.
★ Total oilmeal export from April to May reached 7.67 lakh tonne, 17% less than last year's 9.39 lakh tonne.
