Coriander
June Contract:
Closed at 7016 on Monday and climbed to 7092 by Friday, gaining ₹76 during the week.
The price touched a weekly high of ₹7160 on June 6.
July Contract:
Rose from 7080 to 7170, up by ₹90.
It hit a high of ₹7220 on Friday.
After an initial decline, strong demand and stockist buying led to consistent gains in the last three sessions.
Jeera
June Contract:
Fell from ₹20,400 on Monday to ₹19,830 on Wednesday, closing the week at ₹19,795.
Overall weekly loss: ₹605.
A high of ₹20,050 was recorded on Friday.
July Contract:
Declined from ₹20,590 to ₹20,005 during the week, losing ₹585.
The sharp decline was mainly due to fresh arrivals from the new season and weakened export demand, though slight recovery was seen on Friday.
Turmeric
June Contract:
Prices surged from ₹13,784 to ₹14,610, posting a strong gain of ₹826 for the week.
The highest level of ₹14,610 was recorded on June 6.
July Contract:
Jumped from ₹13,990 to ₹14,930 — a massive weekly rise of ₹940.
Strong upward momentum was driven by fears of crop damage due to intense heat and lack of rain in southern India.
