Domestic Wheat Market
★ The government announced wheat sales under the OMSS scheme.
★ In the first tender, the minimum quantity has been set at 250 tons for HT connections and 50 tons for LT connections, with a total of 200,000 tons of wheat to be sold.
★ Market discussions suggested that tenders might be issued every two weeks instead of weekly. If confirmed, this would be a positive sign for the market. IGrain India will provide further updates soon.
★ Wheat prices declined after the tender announcement, which is a natural market reaction.
★ It remains to be seen at what price and in what quantity purchases are made tomorrow, as markets already have adequate stock available.
