Rice prices rise in Thailand
Rice prices in Thailand have seen significant increases, particularly for premium varieties like Jasmine rice. Here are the key details:

Premium Jasmine Rice: Prices for premium quality Jasmine rice have reached 16,000 Baht per tonne.

Other Rice Varieties: The price of 15% moisture rice is between 8,900 and 10,000 Baht per tonne, while freshly harvested rice is priced at 7,800 to 9,000 Baht per tonne. Other rice prices are as follows:
Dry rice: 8,900–10,200 Baht per tonne
Freshly harvested rice: 7,800–9,000 Baht per tonne
Jasmine paddy rice: 12,000–12,400 Baht per tonne (freshly harvested)

Export Prices: Prices for various rice exports have increased:
Hom Mali rice: $935 per tonne (up 7.59%)
Pathum Thani rice: $875 per tonne (up 24.64%)
White rice: $603 per tonne (up 11.67%)
Steamed rice: $601 per tonne (up 10.89%)
Glutinous rice: $818 per tonne (up 0.62%)
Exports and Production: Thailand has exported 83.7 lakh tonnes of rice in the first 10 months of the season, an increase compared to the previous year. The total rice exports are expected to rise by 20% to reach 9 million tonnes by 2024.
