Sharp Decline in Russian Wheat Export Prices
★ The price of 12.5% protein Russian wheat fell last week to 17,300–17,800 rubles per ton, compared to 17,500–17,800 rubles per ton the week before.
★ This marks a decline in Russian wheat prices after a long period of stability.
★ According to SovEcon (Soviet Economy Agency), Russia exported 1.5 million tonnes of wheat so far this season, compared to 4.8 million tonnes during the same period last season.
