Export Sales data released today showed old-crop soybean sales at 276,852 MT, a three-week low but still 42.45% above the same week last year. China was the largest buyer with 74,800 MT, followed by Mexico with 67,400 MT and Indonesia with 53,700 MT.
Sales for the 2026/27 marketing year were reported at 243,000 MT. Unknown destinations accounted for 132,000 MT, making them the largest buyer, while Costa Rica purchased 68,000 MT.
Soybean meal sales totaled 231,752 MT, within market expectations of 200,000–600,000 MT. Soybean oil sales were just 27 MT, falling within the middle range of expected net reductions.
Weather forecasts continue to indicate rainfall potential across parts of the Eastern Corn Belt over the next seven days.
Brazil’s soybean exports totaled 14.825 MMT in May, up from 14.099 MMT during the same period last year. The Buenos Aires Grain Exchange estimated Argentina’s soybean harvest at 91.7% complete, while maintaining its production forecast at 50.1 MMT.
