Ukraine Pea Exports
★ During the 2024/25 period (July to February), Ukraine exported 263,000 tons of peas, which is an 11% increase compared to the previous year’s 239,000 tons.
★ Turkey was the largest importer, buying 78,000 tons, followed by the EU-27 with 64,000 tons.
★ Additionally, exports were also made to other countries, including India and Pakistan.
★ In the 2021/22 season, exports were close to 320,000 tons.
★ After a decline in the 2022/23 season to 210,000 tons, exports rose again in 2023/24, exceeding 300,000 tons. During this season, India and Turkey imported large volumes of peas.
★ From January to March, pea imports in India began to decline, although port stocks still remain high.
