New Delhi: While mustard prices at Haryana’s Adampur mandi surged by ₹634 to reach a high of ₹8,234 per quintal during the week of July 25–31—driven by low arrivals and strong buyer demand—prices in key mandis across other major producing states saw only moderate fluctuations of ₹100–200 per quintal.

The price of 42% condition mustard fell by ₹50 to ₹8,150 per quintal in Delhi, whereas in Jaipur, it rose by ₹75 to reach ₹8,425 per quintal. Other mandis in Haryana remained either steady or saw a slight softening in prices.

Trading and prices for mustard remained normal and steady in the Morena, Porsa, and Gwalior mandis of Madhya Pradesh, while some fluctuations were observed in Rajasthan's mandis. Prices in Bharatpur improved by ₹50 to ₹7,900 per quintal and in Alwar rose by ₹150 to ₹8,100 per quintal; however, prices fell by ₹100 to ₹7,500–8,300 per quintal in Kota and dropped by ₹220 to ₹6,500–7,280 per quintal in Bikaner. Mustard prices in the Hapur mandi of Uttar Pradesh rose by ₹175.

Prices for mustard oil (expeller and Kachchi Ghani) saw an increase of ₹2 to ₹4 per kilogram, with demand remaining strong. The price of expeller oil improved by ₹5 to ₹1,670 per 10 kg in Delhi and surged by ₹40 to ₹1,680 per 10 kg in Ludhiana. However, slight softening was also recorded in some areas. Prices of expeller mustard oil in Bikaner and *Kachchi Ghani* mustard oil in Hapur recorded a decline of ₹30 per 10 kg each. In Mumbai, the price of expeller oil dropped by ₹10.

Daily mustard arrivals have fallen below 3 lakh bags. During the week, supplies ranged from a low of 2 lakh bags to a high of 2.50 lakh bags.

Some fluctuations were observed in the prices of mustard oil cake and DOC, though the range remained limited. Mustard oil cake prices improved by ₹100 per quintal in both Alwar and Khairthal. In Morena, DOC prices rose by ₹500 per tonne.
