अक्टूबर से खुले बाजार में बड़े पैमाने पर गेहूं की बिक्री संभव : सूत्र 
★ प्राप्त जानकारी के अनुसार इस वर्ष के लिए खुले बाजार बिक्री योजना (ओएमएसएस) के तहत साप्ताहिक नीलामी के लिए लगभग 55 लाख टन निर्धारित किया जा सकता है। 
★ पिछले वित्त वर्ष में 28 जून से शुरू हुई नीलामी में लगभग 100 लाख टन गेहूं बेचा गया था।
★ सरकार ने मार्च 2025 के आसपास नई फसल आने तक स्थिर कीमतें सुनिश्चित करने के लिए हर महीने आधिकारिक भंडार से लगभग 10 लाख टन गेहूं बेचने की योजना बनाई।
★ सूत्रों के अनुसार यदि आवश्यक हुआ, तो पहले की तरह एक समान आरक्षित मूल्य को फिर से लागू भी कर सकती है।
★ वर्तमान में रुपए 2,325/क्विंटल (FAQ) और रुपए 2,300/क्विंटल (URS) के साथ-साथ माल ढुलाई लागत अतिरिक्त तय की गई। 
★ सरकार ने 2024 की खरीद अवधि (अप्रैल-जून) में 373 लाख टन के लक्ष्य के मुकाबले 266 लाख टनगेहूं खरीदा था। 
★ सीजन 2022 में 187.9 लाख टन और 2023 में 262 लाख टन और 2021 में खरीद रिकॉर्ड 433.4 लाख टन की खरीद की गई।

Large scale wheat sale possible in open market from October: Sources
★ According to the information received, about 55 lakh tonnes can be set for weekly auction under the Open Market Sale Scheme (OMSS) for this year.
★ In the last financial year, about 100 lakh tonnes of wheat was sold in the auction which started from June 28.
★ The government plans to sell about 10 lakh tonnes of wheat from the official stock every month to ensure stable prices till the new crop arrives around March 2025.
★ According to sources, if necessary, a uniform reserve price can also be re-implemented as before.
★ Currently fixed at Rs 2,325 / quintal (FAQ) and Rs 2,300 / quintal (URS) plus freight cost additionally.
★ The government had procured 266 lakh tonnes of wheat against the target of 373 lakh tonnes in the procurement period (April-June) of 2024.
★ 187.9 lakh tonnes were procured in season 2022 and 262 lakh tonnes in 2023 and a record 433.4 lakh tonnes in 2021.
