All India Edible Oil Stocks Update
★ Due to heavy imports to meet the festive demand, the country's edible oil stock has been steadily increasing every 15 days. As of 31st July 2025, the total edible oil stock across India has reached 9,33,383 tonnes, which is significantly higher compared to 8,55,679 tonnes on 15th July 2025.
★ Since 30th June, a continuous rise in stock levels has been observed. Imports have increased sharply to meet the growing festive season demand. However, despite higher imports, there has been no significant relief in domestic prices.
★ International market prices remain elevated, which is keeping domestic edible oil prices stable to high despite heavy imports.
Prices are expected to remain firm, with a possibility of further increase in the coming days.
